Proposals to Appoint an EU Finance Minister Should be Dropped - Hayes

Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes has urged European leaders to scrap plans for an EU Finance Minister. 

Economic and Monetary Union reform is set to be discussed at a summit later this month. 

MEPs gathering in Strasbourg have been discussing their priorities ahead of that meeting.
