Irish border question high up on Brexit debate in European Parliament

The question of the Irish border post Brexit featured strongly in a European Parliament debate this morning.

MEPs assessed the outcome of last week’s EU summit when leaders discussed Brexit.

The European Parliament’s chief Brexit coordinator Guy Verholfstadt told MEPs there would be no agreement until the Irish border issue was resolved.
