Beau Wise lost both of his older brothers, Jeremy and Ben, in the war in Afghanistan. With that his commanding officer dropped to one knee in front of Beau's mother and vowed that Beau would not be going back into the War. The Lone Survivor designation is one that has not often been used but it allows for members of the military to remain in the military but removed from combat as the last living member of a family of soldiers. It was not exactly something that Beau welcomed, his Marine Corps guys were also his family, but Beau knew that his family at home needed him then more than ever. Since then, Beau has kept the heroic memories of his brothers alive and the latest tribute to them is the new book, Three Wise Men, with co-author Tom Sileo.
