Pete Cheung, associate lecturer at Sheffiedl Hallam Univeristy, has had a long and varied career in teaching and teacher training. Pete joins me this evening to share his wealth of experience and discuss the importance of teacher 'education' rather than teacher 'training'. We chat about the changes to teacher education that are taking place, and make tentative predictions for the future! We also cover the importance of being reflective as a teacher and why we should never stop learning.
