2023 MLB baseball Opening day new rules, topics Mets, Cohen, Lindor, Shohei, Trout, Vladdy tons more

This was a great episode doing a fun MLB Baseball preview show! On the day before opening day we had a great and fun deep dive on the game and the year ahead!

We focused heavily on the Mets, Steve Cohen, Pete Alonso, Francisco Lindor and more. We discussed Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout and the Angels year ahead. Vladdy should contend for an MVP this year and lead the Blue Jays back to the playoff

First off It was Dale Cory long time media member and die hard New York Mets Fan who joined us to give his insight on the upcoming season. We also welcomed Barry Grant Jr. (All Even Podcast host) in to break down the baseball season and provide us with some unparalleled knowledge and great perspective on the game.

There were some rules to start with that had to be implemented on this podcast or it could have got out of control, None of us were to anxious to place bets, get tattoos, trash talk to heavily so everyone agreed to play nice! With two Mets fans invited in the lone Yankees fan wanted to ensure it wasn't going to become two on one teaming up and hating on the host lol.

We were on a countdown as there was only 16 hours away to opening day to break down baseball as it was about to embark on a historic new season. The rule changes that MLB had brought forth that had been so widely talked about this Spring are finally going to be seen for real tomorrow. The year 2023 will be remembered for decades to come as the year the pitch clock started, the shift had been basically outlawed and stolen bases were coming back into the game. We will have to see if these changes will have the desired outcome.

We of course discussed the top teams in baseball and our predictions for the division winners across both leagues. The real powers of the sport are in the East and West in both leagues with the central lacking in as much of the superstar talent and intrigue. Everyone did weigh in on their favorites for league MVP's as well.
