Use Their Language

Body language and vocal cues are very important things to have a firm grasp on if you want to grow and maintain good relationships. That’s why in today's Super Motivational Friday we’ll be learning about others and how to use their language.

Using their language is very important because it gives you the clues you need for what to say and do next in your conversation to ensure that they maintain their interest in you and so you can build rapport with them to grow that relationship in your next marriage, business partner or maybe they’re just your neighbor.

So for example when someone tells you something about them. Repeat what they say back to but in a way that’s indicative of you being interested in the conversation. For example say you have a friend named Sierra whos says to you “I love paris in the springtime” don’t say “oh okay” say “wow I bet paris is lovely in the springtime” You see when you repeat what they say back to them it makes it seem like you’re really paying attention and interested in what they have to say. And in return they Sierra or whoever you’re talking to will return their interest in you.
