Historical Books Lesson 3B: The Cycle and Its Effects

It becomes clear that the root cause of Israel's bondage was not the inhabitants in the Land, but a heart condition that insists upon its own doings and ways.  Living this way long enough, we will forget about the Lord who dwells in our midst.  Only a king who governs under the King can break this cycle.
