SUMMARY Dave Ramsey likes to say this about how you spend your money: “Live like no one else now so you can live AND give like no one else later.” Here’s the cool part…later can be a few months from now, a few years from now, or years and years from now. The point? Have a plan for spending. If you want to find financial peace, you must have a plan. You cannot simply spend every cent you have on things you don’t need with zero regard for the future.

There are times when every cent goes toward needed bills, but if we slow down, look to the future and make a plan, we’ll find a better way forward where we experience the peace of God when it comes to our money.
