128. Alison McDowell- Impact Investing, Blockchain, and more, part 1

As we shift into new models of profit and control, technology is being used to facilitate these changes. Blockchain technology in particular allows for the digitalization and tokenization of all things and pairs perfectly with a merger of the physical and technological. One example taking place now is impact investing and social impact bonds. These in a sense allow for the commodification of individuals and creates a market for building up a "human portfolio" that can be invested in, gamified, and potentially shorted.
