SEASON 5 begins with our guest, Mike Upchurch. Mike has written for just about every great sketch comedy show in television history, including Mr. Show, The Chris Rock Show, MadTV, and Storage Wars. In this podcast, he talks about his experiences at each of those shows. AND THEN WE BREATHALYZE OURSELVES. Mike also wrote a master's thesis at UNLV about the poetics of sketch comedy so we go deep on topics like "lateral cohesion" and "dropping the cow."
