This righteousness, described as "alien" because it comes from God and not human works, assures the believer's right standing before God, rooted in grace and manifested in a life of faith. Paul ties this message to the broader biblical narrative, affirming that salvation by faith has always been God’s plan, evident in both the Old and New Testaments.
