On this Tuesday, Father Anthony is in panic mode, for he has been very busy before the start of the show today and getting things done this morning, meeting with various people and so much to do. It's possible that the residual effects of the time change are still affecting everyone. Today is also Election Day and everyone seems to have been busy these past few days, including Producer Nick, and it's getting to everyone. After talking about everyone's personal stress, Father Anthony talks about 31 Parishes that are or will be closing in New York, however some are merging together, relating to the signs of the times in terms of things closing or going out of business. With all this in mind, is a question Father Anthony raises here and to give all our loyal listeners something to think about, and that is: "Can St. Stanislaus Kostka survive?" here in Chicago, and Father Anthony points out that it can due to the people and that it is in the same situation as those mentioned in New York. This is looked at further by saying that it can and will happen in Chicago too, with this Financial Crisis we Americans face. Besides finances, the idea of how things have changed in terms of the Family have changed too, in terms of practicing the idea of family and how certain things aren't taught or not taught as much as before in the family. Other changes are talked about too, such as in entertainment with movies, sports, and other forms, as well as the grim fact that these realities exist and must be faced, or as the phrase goes, "sad, but true." At the end of the show, Father Anthony turns toward the words of the Saints, talking about the future, how someone else will have to take care of things.
