In this episode of Indigenous Earth Community Podcast, we have Dr. Don Dexter, a Modoc storyteller. He will share his experience in pursuing higher education as an Indigenous person. He also discusses his upcoming documentary film about the Modoc War, and how the climate crisis is a existential crisis for Indigenous communities. Specifically, he talks about areas such as when Tule Lake, a significant part of the Modoc homelands, which has dried up. Dr. Don will then will offer paradigm shifts on how to have a healthier planet by getting better sleep.
