General Hospital sees the intricate web of deceit continue to unravel as Ava Jerome (Maura West) manipulates her best friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), all in a bid to have a romantic relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Ava, driven by her ulterior motives, is seen actively undermining Nina's attempts to reconcile with Sonny. 

The plot thickens as Ava begins to suspect foul play regarding Sonny's medication, leading her to get it tested, adding a new layer of mystery to the storyline. Meanwhile, Nina and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are having a secret affair, which Ava is likely to discover soon on GH. 

The ABC soap opera takes a dramatic turn as the possibility of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) walking in on Nina and Drew's secret meetings looms large, adding to the chaos. As the narrative unfolds, Ava continues to exploit Nina's desperation to reconcile with Sonny, while also creating a false perception of distance between herself and Nina to Sonny.
