US Close 15 Mar 16: Quiet night on markets ahead of the FED while oil and gold lost ground.

US sharemarkets were mixed on Monday as investors waited on the two-day Federal Reserve meeting. Energy shares led the weakness down 0.5%. Eight of the 10 major sectors were weaker.
