The Mayor of Kewanee was our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday to reflect on Monday's Kewanee City Council Meeting. In the interview, the Mayor of Kewanee addressed the protracted debate over a contract with Zen City. The Council voted on Monday night unanimously opposing a contract with Zen City for services related to providing data to the City Kewanee aggregated via public social media posts and private surveys. Also at Monday's meeting, was an adjustment to the recent TIF Agreement related to The End Zone, the approval of an in-home business, a discussion regarding North Cottage Street in Kewanee, between 5th and 6th Street.
