The Lakers eliminated the Lumber Jacks 8-7 in 13 innings in a Region 8C game. Carter Philippi doubled with 1 out in the top of the 13 and eventually scored on a squeeze bunt by Carter Holthaus to provide the winning run. Matt Pichelmann threw 10 innings in relief to get the Win for Avon.
