This is the play of the enemy – deception. It’s a cheap payout. You think you’re winning, but in the last moment, you realize it was a hoax, a scheme, and a lie to create a false sense of security. And this seems to be the story for so many of us or formerly from so many of us. We were under deception and then life came up short, came up empty. When we hit the breaking point and are overcome by our losses and disappointments, there is a source willing to redeem us from all slavery, bondage, and despair – His name is Jesus!
