Episode # 1042 - Grateful And Thankful

With Thanksgiving around the corner and coming up this Thursday, everyone is excited about that.  However, the cold/winter is affecting everyone, since this morning it was very cold and snow fell too, with heaters blasting the hot air as Christina says.  Not to mention the temperature dropped very fast, but grateful for all that God has done and is doing for us.  Father Anthony talks about family and families in general with Gerri and Christina talk about diminishing children, in terms of raising them.  The discussion also talks about recent things going on in society today too. With many violent things going on in the world, in particular the events taking place around the world and here in America too, as well as the media's part in this or the part media plays here.  The discussion also brings up more on the idea of marriage or how marriage is today or the definition of marriage too.  A reminder that since we are up against all these things during this time, not only personal but also around the world, God is there for us and helping, guiding, and loving us in these difficult days and hears us pray to him for help and that we are very grateful and thankful for God helping us and providing much for us.  With all this in mind, Father Anthony brings up how we as a people are desensitized to evil, how we know we have the capacity to do both good and evil and that evil is there, but how we are desensitized to it.  Tony arrives a bit late on the show and switches gears a bit here, talking about other things, as well as previous things on today's show.
