The Be Well Beautiful Woman Podcast
Health & Fitness:Mental Health
Certified yoga and meditation teacher, Caitlin Cady has been called a “wellbeing whiz” by Australian Yoga Journal and her positive perspectives and relatable, playful approach have inspired people across the globe to get lit up and live to their full potential. After a decade-long battle with chronic Lyme disease, Caitlin turned to meditation as a last resort, desperate to heal herself. This not only freed her from Lyme disease, but led her to write "Heavily Meditated: Your Down-to-Earth Guide to Learning Meditation and Getting High on Life”. Vogue Australia named it “the coolest book on meditation” and Better Homes and Gardens called it “life-changing.” Caitlin followed up the book with the launch of Heavily Meditated App, a guided meditation app. Caitlin’s second book "The Hope Dealer: 101 Soulful Daily Musings”. Caitlin’s work has been featured in the pages of Marie Claire, Real Living, Prevention, Nourished, and Women’s Health and on the websites of Vogue, The Grace Tales, and Fashion Journal. In our conversation we explored the following:
1) How meditation has healed her lyme disease for more than 10 years
2) Embracing resistant as a sign of transformation
3) Courage as a practice
4) Six strategies for cultivating hope
5) Feeding yourself a diet of inspiration
6) So much more!
