The Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center would like to take this opportunity to recognize Taylor Johnson as "Professional Student of the Month" for March 2016. Taylor is the daughter of Kevin and Michelle Johnson and is a senior at Oscoda High School.
Taylor is a second year student in the Health Science Program where she is an outstanding student. She continues to be at the top of the class in academics, work ethics, work site and professionalism. Taylor completed her second year medical terminology curriculum early and has begun a college level veterinary technician curriculum. Taylor is currently attending work site at the Tawas Animal Hospital where she works with Dr. Timothy Burg and his staff. Taylor is always willing to assist other students in the program. In the fall, Taylor will be attending Saginaw Valley State University to study biology. At Oscoda High School she participates in Varsity football, basketball, and soccer; assists with youth basketball, and is a referee for AYSO soccer.
To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average. Iosco RESA Tech Center offers the following programs for 11th and 12th grade students: Aircraft Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management, Health Science, and Power Mechanics.
