Kingdom of God as a Mustard Seed

When the earliest Christians wanted to write down and finalize their story of Jesus, there was a bank of material that they ALL went to; regardless of specific locations or needs of various congregations, all Christians across the roman empire by the middle of the 1st century were being told these stories to define Jesus and his mission in their mind, and to give them guidance on how they were supposed to model their thoughts, lives and worship. In an age when who Jesus is and what Jesus stood for seems incredibly confused, it seems worth our time to go back to that overlap, and recenter our knowledge of who Jesus is, what he taught and what he is calling us to today.
