Kelly Jones is a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics as well as a media and nutrition communications expert. Residing in greater Philadelphia, Kelly began her career with nearly a decade as an associate professor of nutrition and exercise physiology while building her sports nutrition business and gaining notoriety in the media. Her performance nutrition practice has two additional sports dietitians serving athletes at every level in individual and group settings with a plant-forward and non-restrictive approach to performance.
As a nationally recognized nutrition expert, Kelly’s expertise is highlighted regularly in outlets such as Runner's World, Women’s and Men's Health, Spartan, US News and World Report, Insider and more. She often appears on broadcast television, showcasing the ease of incorporating nutrient dense foods and food products into a busy, active lifestyle. Kelly has created nutrition and medical fitness programs for nationally recognized fitness clubs and consults with national sports organizations, including Major League Baseball and USA Swimming. Additionally, Kelly aids companies with nutrition communications messaging, serves on nutrition advisory boards, and acts as a media spokesperson for likeminded brands.
Kelly founded and oversees the services and resources provided by Student Athlete Nutrition, whose mission is to make evidence-based performance nutrition information and practical applications accessible to more high school and collegiate athletes as well as their parents.
As a former Division-I swimmer, a business owner and busy mom, Kelly relates to the need for practical tools that support physical and mental performance as well as healthy living.
