In this episode, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King and the legacy he left behind by talking with Michael Mcbride. Michael is a Nationally renowned voice for the marginalized. He is the pastor of The Way Christian Fellowship in Berkley California and an organizer of numerous justice initiatives Nationwide designed to address gun violence, mass incarceration, and criminal justice reform.
Michael has advocated for the black community from the streets of Oakland to Capitol Hill and is one of the many modern-day activists who have taken on the mantle of Dr. King. Corey and Michael talk about the theology behind justice work and why so many Evangelicals shy away from the work.
