Days of Our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) navigate their budding romance as Belle decides to leave EJ. This causes EJ to consider purchasing a date with her in a charity bachelor and bachelorette auction organized to save Salem's University Hospital from bankruptcy. This could affect the careers of Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who all work at the hospital. The idea for the fundraiser comes from Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who are also dealing with their own romantic tension on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees Belle's brother, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is dealing with the fallout of Ava Vitali's (Tamara Braun) kidnapping and his fear of losing his daughter Rachel (Finley Rose Slater), leading to potential legal troubles for his sister Belle. The highlight of the episode is the charity auction, which could lead to interesting dynamics between EJ, Belle, and other Salem residents.
