Young and the Restless sees Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) find themselves in an eerie, abandoned location, reminiscent of a spine-chilling escape room. The two are not alone in their chilling predicament as an unseen captor forces them to play a deadly game. The situation is a nightmare for both women, as Sharon and Phyllis have a tumultuous history and are each suspicious of the other's involvement in their current predicament on the CBS soap opera. 

Y&R sees their families, including Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), are in a frenzy, launching accusations at each other, suspecting the other party's involvement in the disappearance of their loved ones. The situation worsens when it is suspected that Ian Ward (Ray Wise), a character long thought to be dead, is the mastermind behind their detention. 

Young and Restless sees Sharon and Phyllis must put aside their differences and suspicions to escape their captor's clutches. The episode ends on a high note with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), albeit a less than exemplary cop, starting his search for the missing women.
