Episode # 1769 - The 16th Anniversary Of 9/11

Mary FioRito joins us today, sitting in for Father Anthony Bush who is away this week for a bit, but doing well.  First of all, all of us at Winds of Change send out our thoughts and prayers to those who are suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, which struck Florida this past weekend, as well as those who are still going through the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.  But, today Mary focuses on another serious subject, the 16th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, that was one of the many days in American history that live in infamy.  First, Mary talks about all those who gave their lives, especially the First Responders who went in and helped out and how many of them are suffering from injuries and sicknesses as a result from the attacks.  Also, Mary welcomes her guest, a long time heroine of hers: Bonne Quirke, Executive Director of Lake County Right To Life.  Both women share their feelings on the 9/11 attacks and also the effects after, and what is going on Post 9/11.  Also, Bonnie talks about herself in terms of her history with working in the Pro-Life Movement for 43 years, providing service and help to women who need it, as well as others who are dealing with other types of problems.  Both women discuss this further with the work they both have been doing with this over the last few years as well.  For more information on Mary FioRito and Bonne Quirke, visit online at:
