Market Close 30 Dec 15: Local shares end near best levels of day

Local shares rose for the ninth consecutive session with all sectors finishing in positive territory. Energy stocks did best thanks to a rise in the oil price (but remain the worst performers this year). Local shares are up 8.5% in two weeks.
