Market Close 9 Nov 18: ASX 200 slips 0.1% today to be up 1.2% this week

The local sharemarket has finished a touch lower on Friday, taking this week’s improvement to 1.2% - the second straight weekly gain. Energy stocks were hardest hit after global oil prices sank to 8 month lows overnight.
