Ep #139 - In this episode of Empowering Chats, Susan has a heartfelt talk with fellow podcaster and survivor of child abuse, Tiffany Barnes. Tiffany shares her story of sexual, physical and emotional abuse that led her to become emancipated at the young age of 15.  At that time Tiffany was only the second case of a child that age, in her home state of Utah to become legally emancipated from her parents. Her journey and healing led her to create a non-profit for abused children and to produce her SpeakLOUD podcast.  Tiffany was a torch-carrier for the 2002 Olympics and has always been that person to shine light in the dark places. She took her struggle of abuse and chose to use it as a stepping stone toward a better future.
