Today's conversation is with Taro Iwamoto.
Taro is a Feldenkrais practitioner based in Lake Stevens, WA with years of experience in movement fields including: physical therapy, athletic training, and martial arts. He works with people with physical challenges (pain, balance issues) as well as curious learners who want to learn more about how their bodies move.
Taro's professional career and personal experience have taught him to slow down, be mindful, be present and pay attention to himself that includes his bodies, his thoughts, feelings, as well as other people and the environment. He practices mindful movement using the Feldenkrais Method and martal arts (Tai Chi and Aikido) and incorporate it into daily life. Since starting practicing this, he has gained so much freedom in movements as well as in thinking and feeling as he has more options in his movement, thinking, and feeling patterns. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills to help others move through the world physically and emotionally with a sense of ease, comfort, and freedom.
Today we are lucky to have not just a great conversation but also an experiential practice led by Taro. We are sure you'll learn something from this.
