Episode # 1159 - What Is The Mass?

Father Anthony is here once again and the gang's all here too, with Christina, Gerri, and Tony bringing to mind the topics of the day.  On this beautiful day in Chicago, much and many things are on everyone's mind today, not jut things at St. Stans, but also movies, fun, people, and good times.  With these topics in mind at the start of the show, the laughs keep on coming, bringing more good times today for everyone on the show.  Father Anthony brings up those who are recovering well, as well as reading things from the letter he recently wrote.  He raises many points he is trying to make in the letter too, allowing everyone on the show today to voice their opinions and feelings on this.  One of the topics brought up is Communion and Baptism as well.  As Father Anthony continues, he asks a question raised by not only him, but others as well, including from an article he recently looked at and continues after the second break, that being: "What is the Mass?" allowing everyone to describe what they feel is the Mass or what Mass is to them, in terms of how it's run/conducted, as well as the feelings provided by the Mass, as well as the importance of the Mass.  Four major points Father Anthony says are needed in/for the Mass include: Adoration, Thanksgiving, Atonement, and Petition.
