Code Lavender! Get us 100cc’s of soapy medical drama stat!! We’re back with another episode of Good Reception, but this time neither of us has ever seen the show. Somehow we’ve missed the biggest TV phenomenon of the past decade and a half, the much beloved, and oft referenced Grey’s Anatomy. We jump into the middle of season two with the show’s most ever watched episode, “It’s the End of the World.” Will we become the newest Anatom-aniacs (I think I just made that up?) or will it die on the operating table? Either way it’s a prescription for laughter! (sorry, these medical puns are DOA).
Also, we talk about the questionable nature of a certain “90s boning song,” debate who’s the best Billy Crudip, and try to decide if Ellen Pompeo is always crying. Plus Morgan coins her new catchphrase “I would like to uhh… touch that” and Mike pitches his new ABC drama, Don’t-ers. It’s gonna be… explosive! (Dun dun dunnnn!)
