The Epic Casebook - Death in the Wife’s Name

A police surgeon calls Scotland Yard about a death in the apartment next door to him, the Mancliff residence. Edith Mancliff has been found dead in the bathtub, with bruises indicating a murder had taken place.  Inspector Carr starts by questioning her husband, Oliver Mancliff.  He stated that he was with Mrs. Morris at the time of the murder. Mancliff and Morris were former members of a law firm until they were disbarred because of an investment scandal.
