Market Close 16 Mar 22: ASX 200 recouped Tuesday’s losses

The Australian sharemarket rose by 1.1%, enough to recoup Tuesday's losses thanks to gains across all 11 sectors. Despite a 12% tumble in oil and iron ore prices in 48 hours, resource stocks were mostly higher. New Zealand plans to reopen its borders to vaccinated Australians in four weeks. Qantas (QAN) and Flight Centre rose.
