What is health equity? Interview with Heather Jue Northover

Heather Jue Northover directs the Center for Health Equity with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.  The focus of our conversation was health equity, including how public health defines health equity, the difference between equity and equality, and how partnerships are critical to advancing health equity and reducing health disparities in communities of color, including the spread and impact of COVID-19.
