Sheriff Joe Martin goes out to John Fayette's farm to talk to the old farmer.  The elderly man is burning brush in the middle of his field.  When Fayette's dog continuously tries to burrow into a pile of brush, the sheriff decides to investigate.  What he finds stuns all of Grover's Notch!
