Living in the past can be precarious because it keeps you stagnant. Stationary people are not exempt from having big dreams and those desires will remain just that. So how can you move forward if a setback has kept you stuck?
In this episode, I share my thoughts on being future-minded. Future-mindedness does not mean ignoring the present or pretending the past did not happen. Rather it is choosing to be inspired by God's promise of a beautiful future- even if you can't see any evidence of that.
When we spend time recreating good feelings, we can remain tethered to the past; we tend to do this during or after a setback.
I also share practical tips on propelling forward after life has kept you grounded.
