Max Montoya In The Trenches with Dave Lapham

Who better to have on In The Trenches with Dave Lapham presented by First Star Logistics than a man I spent plenty of time playing in the trenches with, my former teammate Max Montoya.

Max will talk about his journey to football from La Puente High School in California, junior college at Mt. San Antonio College, and then UCLA before embarking on an NFL career going from a seventh-round draft selection in the 1979 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Max would play 11 seasons in Cincinnati before finishing his career with the Los Angeles Raiders. He talks about his time spent with both organizations, the impact Paul Brown and Al Davis had on his career and life after football, owning multiple Penn Station locations, and his love of horses.
