S2E25- Top 10 Songs That William Shatner Should’ve Sang!

On a mad scientist worthy experiment, we decide to do some covers of hit songs while pulling a Weird Al/Richard Cheese by adding our own take: sing them in the style of William Shatner. Given the out-of-control nature of this, impressions of George Takei, Jimmy Stewart and Sean Connery occur from time-to-time. We also do a brief history as to how we were introduced to this cult icon, wether he’s truly a talented actor or not and contrast him to other cult comedic icons like Adam West, Jeff Goldblum, Christopher Walken and Samuel L. Jackson.
Nathan sings a cover of “Here I Go Again” by White Snake, Brendan takes on “Crazy Bitch” by Buckcherry and I do my best take on “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. Instrumentals for said songs are also added to make this a more easy-to-listen-to experience! And since Shatner is ananimous with bad movies, we end up talking about other “So bad they’re good” movie screenings and MST3k type live events.
