In this episode, Jackie talks about power dynamics that affect us in our daily lives and pit us against each other instead of with each other. Recent events from last week brought the patriarchal structure of the United States and our representatives front and center. It's not uncommon for change to inspire change. As we have felt the uncertainty of a global epidemic, the issue of racism made it's way to center stage and is now followed by sexism. We are in need of a change. I see individuals and couples work towards and make these changes every day. Will this change raise from the micro level to the macro? I hope so!
