Tributes have been paid to Jemma McRae an Aberdeen Dance Teacher who has been described as ‘A Truly Inspirational Person’ and ‘truly beautiful inside and out.’ Jemma lost her battle with breast cancer but was a fighter to the end. Kinellar Primary School @KinellarSchool has officially re-opened, three years after the original school was burnt down in a fire. It is great to note the number of ways the community and local businesses have drawn together to ensure the experience has been positive for both pupils and staff. Midmill School@MidmillSchool and staff for accommodating the pupils while the the new school was being built. Bus Company R S Coaches for kindnesses to pupils during their commute and Morrison Construction@morrisonbuilds for providing learning opportunities. Kinellar School Head Teacher and staff went above and beyond to welcome pupils to the new building and help them to settle in.
Friends Of Duthie Park has launched an appeal to purchase an AED – Automated External Defibrillator.
Pupils from Manor Park Primary School @ManorParkSch have been getting Italian Cooking lessons and language Tuition from Samantha Pack a Kintore Chef who was raised in Italy. The response to the initiative ‘Bairns In the Kitchen’ from pupils, staff and parents has been great.
