There are seven ballot measures on South Dakota’s Nov. 5, 2024, general election ballot and at least half of them have some sort of verbiage disagreement between the proponents and the opponents. The result puts voters in the middle trying to sort through messages that spin one way or another to find information. One of the issues is Referred Law 21. The South Dakota Farmers Union organization is urging people to vote against it, while the South Dakota Corn Growers organization is urging people to support it.
