US Close 29 Apr 19: S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs

The US sharemarket rose by as much as 0.5% on Friday thanks to stronger economic growth, solid earnings from Amazon and Ford and a stellar opening weekend for Disney’s Avengers movie, which beat all records.
