In this episode of the Joy in the Journey Radio program (broadcast October 5, 2022), our host discusses Elder D Todd Christofferson’s Conference address from this past weekend entitled, “The Doctrine of Belonging.”  Our host shows how the struggles of a young married woman with infertility parallel the struggles of many LDS singles with finding an eternal companion.  He also discusses how LDS singles can avoid an excessive focus on one’s own unmet needs as well as how they can leverage struggles with acceptance within LDS singles groups to near themselves to the Lord.  How exactly does that leverage work?  And how does infertility have anything to do with being single?
