Peter, James and John experience an incredible, intense moment of worship, face-to-face with the manifest presence of God. After this, they walked down to meet a father, desperate at the foot of the mountain, where he asks Jesus to cast out a demon from his son.
Sometimes we’re in the place of the dad in the valley who is desperate for a miracle. Sometimes we’re the disciples coming down from the mountain top sent on mission to gather, anoint and pray for those who need it.
