The Gift of Tongues /// Andrew Fish

Paul in 1 Corinthians 14 provides biblical context for the gift of tongues. There are two different gifts involving tongues in 1 Corinthians 12. One is the gift of various kinds of tongues and the other is the gift of interpretation. The gift of tongues is us praying to God not to man. It is us bypassing our mind and praying the will of God. This is not a weird out of place charismatic thing but is actually a common sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit.
