Market Close 7 Apr 21: Shares close in on 13-month high

The Aussie sharemarket rose by 0.6%, hit a seven-week high and closed in on a 13-month high thanks to gains across all sectors. For the first time in 2021, the ASX 200 improved for a fourth straight day.
