Father,Your heart is so patient in guiding us. You are so generous to give us Your Word. And You’ve given us Your Spirit to remind us of what Your Word says, to direct our steps, to conform us to Your image. THANK YOU that we aren’t left to wander aimlessly without direction.Whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, we’re all sinners, alienated from You by birth. Father,

Your heart is so patient in guiding us. You are so generous to give us Your Word. And You’ve given us Your Spirit to remind us of what Your Word says, to direct our steps, to conform us to Your image. THANK YOU that we aren’t left to wander aimlessly without direction.

Whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, we’re all sinners, alienated from You by birth. And even after being adopted into Your family, we’ve still wandered off into idolatry. Just like the people of Jerusalem, our sin has kept us from receiving good and from doing good. It has robbed us. We have robbed ourselves, and we repent.

Wash the evil from our hearts, God. We need You today, just like yesterday. We repented today, and we’ll need to do it again tomorrow. So we’re grateful for Your persistence. You are committed to conforming us to Your Son’s image, and we’re so grateful that You never give up on us.

We love You too. Amen.
