How Guests Can Book or Break Into the Watergate on the Scandal’s 50th Anniversary

Pascal Forotti, managing director of the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., talks with Darley Newman, PBS travel host reporting here for Insider Travel Report, about his historic hotel next to the Potomac River and Georgetown. The hotel was renovated and reopened in 2016, featuring a whiskey bar with more than 350 types of whiskey in over 2,500 bottles. With next year being the 50th anniversary of the Watergate break-in of 1972, guests can visit or reside in room 214, the site of the Watergate scandal.
